Jeremy Le Grice 'Boats' -
21st March 2008 - 22nd April 2008
This is Jeremy’s fourth show at Badcocks: his previous ones have been
memorable for their style, content and sense of artistic evolution. We
believe that this exhibition will confirm his reputation as one of the
most ingenious, surprising and serious artists working in Cornwall at
the present time.

Paintings by Ben Gunn
Born G. L. Gunn, Ben hails from Caithness,
Scotland. Having been at sea for over 40 years, he is now a retired
fisherman living in Newlyn.
He started painting in 2003, getting his inspiration from spending
years subconsciously processing sea & skies in his own mind - he is now regenerating their mysteries the has for so long observed.

During the summer months Helen is based in Cornwall and paints the beautiful seascapes of the Cornish coast, then in the winter months when it is quite, she closes her gallery and travels to Manda where she paints the locals and the tranquil surroundings of Manda and Lamu. The African Galleries show some of the paintings Helen has done on her travels to Manda.
