Q. Do you have any information regarding a manuscript account of Newlyn in the 1880's by MISS JANIE KELYNACK and where I might be able to view such ?
A. I have taken a little time to answer your query as I wanted to ask around and see if I could track down the Janie Kelynack manuscript. I have seen it mentioned on occasion (I think that Ben Batten refers to it in one of his books on Newlyn) but have not seen it. I do not know if there is more than one copy and had intended to find out before now. There certainly isn't one in any of the usual resource centres (Morrab Library, Cornwall Centre, etc.)
