The objective One Fisheries Task Force has expressed continuing support
for the progress of the future development of Newlyn. Following a public
meeting in Newlyn, members of the Task Force were pleased at the support
and the progress being made.
The Objective One Fishing Industry Task Force has eight key projects
to assist the development of Cornwall's fishing industry. The development
infrastructure projects identified by the Newlyn Regeneration study is
one of them.
Sam Lambourn, the Task Force chairman said that the development of Newlyn
was the key to the future of the fishing industry in Cornwall and the
Isles of Scilly as a whole.
