Fair to showcase services for old |

Mp andrew George will officially open an Older People's Community Fair
on Saturday, May 26 at Newlyn's community centre.The event will
showcase information, advice, activities and services for older people
in the community.
Organisations
will have stalls that publicise their services, and hold mini-tasters
of activities that older people can participate in, including health,
training, social, sport, and safety.
Free legal advice sessions for older people will also be available on the day.
The Centre is a multi-purpose community centre, which opened in November following an £800,000 refurbishment.
The
community fair event will also celebrate Silver Surfer day, with
participation from Everybody Online Newlyn, which will be providing
access to the internet, and information and advice about computers and
relevant computer courses.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm, and refreshments and lunches will be available.
