Community centre greets Duchess |

The Centre at Newlyn will be officially opened by The Duchess of
Gloucester on Wednesday at 4pm.
The Royal visitor will be met by the Rev
Julyan Drew, minister of the Newlyn Trinity Methodist Chapel, before
beginning a tour of the centre which offers a range of activities for
the community.
Jeremy
Drew, a development worker at The Centre, said the special event is a
culmination of 10 years hard work by the community of Newlyn.
More than £250,000 was raised through numerous fund-raising initiatives and £600,000 grant funding.
"This is a really good opportunity for us to celebrate what we have done here," said Mr Drew.
