The Naked Fishermen Calendar is back! Continuing
the success of previous years it seems that there is still room for a
calendar with naked men and locally caught fish! This year we have
taken as our theme the trawlermen’s journey from leaving port to
returning to market. Our naked stars this year are the crew of the
‘Chloe T’ to whom we are hugely grateful for baring all!

‘The Naked Trawlermen’s Story’
Continuing the success of previous years it seems that there is still room for a calendar with naked men and locally caught fish! This year we have taken as our theme the trawlermen’s journey from leaving port to returning to market. Our naked stars this year are the crew of the ‘Chloe T’ to whom we are hugely grateful for baring all!
Once again we have also asked companies involved with the fishing industry to help us underwrite the costs of producing and printing the calendar. This means money raised from the sale of the calendars can go directly to buying more fish quota to keep Cornwall fishing.
The Cornish fleet has access to some of the UK’s cleanest waters and diverse fishing grounds with over sixty species of fish available.
There are 706 registered fishing vessels that make up the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly fishing fleet. They range from large beamers to cove boats trawlers to netters and shellfish boats, both large and small. All the boats that catch whitefish come under the UK fish quota management system.

With your help and support the Duchy Fish Quota Company has so far purchased £150k worth of Cornish fish quota for lease to Cornish fishermen.
With the company now able to lease to Under 10 metre vessels as well, the need for quota is ever more prevalent.
The company aims to buy up as much Cornish fish quota as possible to ensure the future livelihoods of our Cornish fishermen, the Cornish fishing industry and all those associated with it.
