Blessing of the fleet is a traditional ceremony held every year in
aid to the fishing fleet and the safety of the men who work with their
boats and their families.
BLESSING OF THE FLEET, 26 AUGUST AT 7.45PM AT NEWLYN HARBOUR - CONDUCTED BY THE FISHERMEN'S MISSION
This year’s blessing will be introduced by the Newlyn Male Voice quire followed by the official Welcome by Mission Superintended David Whitehead

After the service the Congregation will proceed to the quayside by the Ice plant for the dedication of the lugger “Ripple” followed by refreshments afterwards at the Mission.
