Q. Please advise of any four star hotels in Newlyn overlooking fishing boat area.
A. Re four star hotels in Newlyn, there are none. It is very much a working port, of great interest but not really catering for the holiday market outside of restaurants, art galleries and a number of holiday cottages. The nearest hotel in the category you are seeking is at nearby Lamorna Cove. The Lamorna Cove Hotel telephone number is 01736 731411.
It is beautifully furnished and has excellent food. Amazing views over the picturesque valley and out over Mounts Bay. No fishing boats however. You could look at the Penzance hotels but there is nothing in Newlyn approaching four star.
