Penzance Old Cornwall Society Meeting - 16 October Print E-mail

Newlyn has never had its own Old Cornwall Society but a number of Newlyn residents attend the Penzance meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Salvation Army Headquarters in Queen Street, Penzance at 7.15 pm. during the winter. .

Members enjoy a programme of outings during the summer months.  The meeting on Tuesday, 16th October will be of particular interest to local rugby enthusiasts, as Phil Westren will be giving an illustrated talk on the history of rugby in Penzance and District.  Tea and biscuits will be served after the meeting.  Visitors and new members are welcome.  For further details contact Ros on 711939.
