A bronze statue recently unveiled at Newlyn by the Princess Royal
"reminds those present of the many Cornish fishermen who were lost
while at sea," says Douglas Williams, vice-chairman of Newlyn Harbour
Commissioners."Everyone who from now on looks at that statue knows only
too well that the list of lost fishermen from all our harbours is long,
too long, and we may now remember all those fishermen and their
families with true pride and affection.

I lost my father on the drifter Helpmate in 1941.I would appreciate if you could tell me were I could aquire a photo of this monument.
