Photographs of Newlyn and the visit by the Princess Royal to unveil the
memorial statue to Fisherman lost at Sea will be on display at The
Centre at Trinity Chapel, Chywoone Hill, on Friday, December 7, (7.
30pm).
It is planned to display more than 70 photographs taken by Phil
Monckton at the Tolcarne site and at the Mission earlier.
The Princess Royal found the occasion "profoundly moving".
Orders will he taken for the photographs.
There will also be entertainment by Elizabeth Harman and John Harry and refreshments.
Admission
is free and there will be a competition in aid of the memorial fund.
The Committee is aiming to raise the final £10,000 towards the project.
