Badcocks Gallery's successful Christmas exhibition
with post-card sized paintings by gallery artists and a few newcomers
helped raise £2,000 for ShelterBox.
A
percentage of all the sales was donated to the charity and the Newlyn
gallery's 'boxes' have already been successfully delivered to
Livingstone in Zambia, where they are helping those affected by
flooding.A spokesman for Badcocks said: "We had a fantastic response to
the exhibition and creative display in the window at Badcocks and would
like to thank everybody who supported and contributed."
