THE annual Yacht Inn Swim from Newlyn Green to the Jubilee Pool Slip takes place tomorrow evening.

Last year a record 237 swimmers took part in the spectacular 1,300-metre event and this year differing start times have been set for 12 and under swimmers, and those taking part in the main event.

The 12 and under swim starts at 7.20pm with the main race at 7.45pm – competitors must register at Newlyn Green between 5pm and 7.15pm. Entry is £6 (to include event T-shirt) with proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support.
