THE Italian Kitchen, Newlyn, enjoyed a launch party last Thursday for local businesses and customers.
It recently changed its name to the Italian Kitchen from Pizza Patio, has changed its menu and has recently employed a new chef.
The night was a hit with 80 customers enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet, which one customer said was "the best buffet I've ever eaten, absolutely amazing how fresh and fantastic the food has been this evening".
Music came from local singer Louis Gulliver King, who played the piano and sang on the restaurant's patio area.
