BUSINESS development consultancy Perfect Moment is expanding with the appointment of a new office manager.

Cheryl Barraclough joins the Perfect Moment team, based in Newlyn, from Penwith Housing Association, where she was a supported housing administrator.

She brings a wealth of experience to the team, having worked across the private, public and voluntary sectors.

Cheryl said: "I'm excited to be joining a dynamic company where I'll be able to tackle some new challenges and responsibilities."

Director Kevin Brownridge added: "Cheryl's role is a crucial one within our company, ensuring all our client projects are fully supported.

"She is very experienced and brings some fantastic skills to the team, and we're delighted to have her on board."

While Cheryl joins the team, two stalwart staff members at Perfect Moment are moving on to exciting new projects.

Finance specialist Barbara Santi, the company's longest-serving staff member, is leaving after seven years to further develop her career as a film-maker.

Office manager Maria MacEwen is also moving on, but both staff members plan to continue their involvement with Perfect Moment as freelancers.

Kevin added: "We're sad to see Barbara and Maria go because they have gone above and beyond their normal job roles to ensure our projects run smoothly.

"However we're pleased that they'll still be associated with Perfect Moment on a freelance basis."
