NEWLYN fishermen have matched their January success with a top haul last month. The fishing fleet set a new record in February for the value of fish landed for a single trip. St Georges, skippered by Billy Worth, smashed the previous record, landing just under £57,000 worth of fish. Harbour master Andrew Munson said that favourable weather conditions meant fishing crews had enjoyed a good month – the total again topped £1.5 million.
