DOG OWNERS in Newlyn are continuing to ignore the ban within the harbour.

The port's authority is outraged that dog walkers are still breaking hygiene regulations.

Harbour master Andrew Munson said: "It is disappointing to report that, even with improved signage, there are still those who try to flout the rules.

"The reasons for not allowing dogs are quite simple: they are on the grounds of hygiene. This is a food handling area."
