OSCAR-WINNING actress Kate Winslet was spotted in Penzance and Hayle last week.
The Titanic star, 35, is thought to have been meeting the family of her former boyfriend Louis Dowler in Penzance, sparking rumours their romance may have been reignited.
The model, also 35, was born in Penzance before moving to London, where he has worked for Burberry and Louis Vuitton.
Winslet was spied browsing the shelves of Boots in Hayle last Tuesday and was later seen outside the Fisherman's Mission in Newlyn by a member of the harbour staff.
Local woman Samantha Scott wrote on Facebook: "I saw her last Tuesday in Boots in Hayle. No make up and she looked stunning."
Earlier this week, the Hollywood actress read a Mr Gum children's book to an audience at the Port Eliot literary festival. Her latest film, the star-studded thriller Contagion, which also features Jude Law, Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow, is due for release in September.
