NOW in its fifth year, Newlyn celebrates this year's Arts Festival a little earlier in the season on September 16 to 24.
It has become the tradition to start the celebrations with an evening of art and music at Newlyn Art Gallery.
This year's opening will take place in the evening of Friday, September 16 when Glastonbury's Michael Eavis will open the show.
The week will go on to embrace poetry, film, art, open studios, sculpture from Penwith College students in Orchard Cottage Garden, literary lunches and much more.
