FISHERMAN Kevin Elliott, 34, of South Road, Goldsithney, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to being drunk and disorderly in Newlyn on the day of the Fish Festival.
Alison May, for the prosecution, said members of the public had complained about his behaviour in a shop and about being abusive to passers-by.
He had two previous convictions for similar offences.
Elliott apologised although he said he could not remember the incidents. He felt drink had been an issue for him although, since the offences, he had not had any alcohol. Before, he had been spending about £200 a month on it.
He was fined £100 and £100 costs and surcharge.
