This flame-ridden vessel was beached on Sandy Cove behind Newlyn Lighthouse South Pier on Sunday. The recently retired wooden crabber, the Dom Bosco, owned by Rose Fishing Ltd, from Newlyn, was burnt with the permission of Newlyn Harbour Master Andrew Munson. He explained that burning a retired boat can save on costly scrapping costs.
