The granted application relates to 'Phase1' of the redevelopment of Newlyn Fish Market to provide a new building for the fish market it self, including office and public viewing spaces, along with ancillary buildings for processing and retailing. The economic and regeneration benefits for both the fishing industry and Newlyn have been considered more than sufficient to justify granting planning permisssion.
