The author and photographer jointly produced Cornish Fishing and Seafood to raise funds for the fishing industry.
Sales of the book have generated income to help the Duchy Fish Quota Co purchase two tons of Dover sole quota in 2007, which cost £24,000, and sales in 2008 are trying to better this target.
Having the quota ensures that fishermen who cannot afford to buy outright are able to continue fishing and helps young fishermen to get a foothold in the industry.
