Q. My wife and I are looking into moving down to Cornwall in our Dutch Barge, and are investigating moorings available for boats in the 80-120ft length category - is a mooring in Newlyn harbour an option at all please?
A. Unfortunately Newlyn harbour does not allow long term mooring due to the fact that it's a working port and also due to new strict hygiene regulation. I suggest you enquire with Penzance Harbour on 01736 336611, who may be able to help.
